Message from the President

Dear Friends,
Following a recent meeting of the LSE France Alumni Committee I wanted to update you on where we stand.  After reviewing some of the highlights of 2015, including the "The Future of Capitalism" conference with LSE President Craig Calhoun at the British Embassy and the "Louvre Masterpieces" tour in December (for a more complete list see we discussed ways to strengthen links with other alumni associations and brainstormed on the future.
Some of the events planned for 2016 (non exhaustive) include:
  • Social alumni get together at "Monsieur Bleu" on 21 March
  • Conference on "The Future of Europe and the consequences of a "Brexit"
  • Dinner on "US Elections 2016:  Has Democracy gone Array?"
  • Kicking off the Euro 2016 with France vs Romania (June 10)
  • Bon Voyage / Welcome Back event for future and recent LSE graduates (July)
  • Dinner of "Fostering Entrepreneurship in Europe"
  • Christmas event (Musée Jacquemart André or Musée Picasso)

For those of you who have not already done so, we strongly encourage you to confirm your membership to the Assocation in 2016 with the following link:

Of course, we always welcome good ideas from our fellow alumni so please do not hesitate to contact me directly if you have any suggestions to make or would like to play a more active role in the Committee.

Looking forward to a great year in 2016!
